About Alessandro
Hi, I’m Alessandro, 29 years old.
Ever since I was little—around 5 years old—my mom and dad have always helped dogs in need. All the dogs we’ve had at home were either adopted from shelters or rescued from extremely difficult situations.
My first dog was Rex. He used to dig huge holes in the yard! Then came Nerone, who was blind in one eye when we took him in and, unfortunately, later lost sight in his other eye as well.
After that, two beautiful little siblings arrived: Bingo and Mia. Bingo had the most amazing eyes—so sweet, huge and black. Unfortunately, he passed away far too young, at around one year old. For me, it was unbearably painful. His little sister Mia also struggled with his loss and developed some behavioral problems. She is doing better now and lives with my mom.
Shortly after, I decided to get another dog—my current dog, Birba, who lives with me. Birba is the dog who always wants to play! She could have me throw the ball for her all day long. She is such a playful little girl, even at 8 years old. With her, it feels like time just stands still. I love her.
I have 15 years of experience with dogs and three years of experience as a dog sitter, specifically providing dog-walking services.
At the moment, I only offer dog walking and no other services. I want to offer only the service I know I can provide 100% safely and responsibly for the dogs in my care.
I am very attentive to dogs and their needs. I observe them carefully and can notice when a dog needs water, needs a break, or is getting tired. I also adjust the pace and length of the walk according to the dog’s age and speed.
I can handle two medium-sized dogs at a time, and each walk lasts one hour. I am available 7 days a week, from 9:00 to 19:00.
I genuinely enjoy taking long walks with dogs, and I think it’s good for both of us. I love playing with them, whether it’s throwing a ball or simply running and exploring together. I can usually tell quite quickly if something is wrong with a dog, and my first thought is always about their health, safety and happiness.
