We are a family of four with two children, aged 2 and 5, and we all genuinely love dogs. I’m a stay-at-home mom, so I spend a lot of time at home and can give our guest plenty of company and attention during the day.
Dogs have always been part of our lives. Before having children, I had a German Boxer for 12 wonderful years, and my husband had a Labrador. Both have sadly passed away. Since having children, we have not adopted another dog because we travel between Italy and Lithuania from time to time, so at the moment we are a pet-free household.
We still miss having a dog around and would love to occasionally welcome a dog into our family as a temporary family member while their owners are away.
Because we have young children, we only accept dogs who are already calm, friendly and comfortable around small children. Safety and a good match are very important to us, so we would always prefer to meet you and your dog before the first stay.
We mainly offer overnight boarding and prefer stays of at least one day and one night. We are especially happy to welcome dogs for weekends or for several days while their owners are away. Short daytime-only stays are usually not the best fit for our family, as we prefer to have enough time for the dog to settle in, become comfortable with us and enjoy a normal family routine.
We can offer one longer walk of around 1–1.5 hours during the first half of the day, plus two additional shorter walks later in the day, depending on your dog’s normal routine and needs.
We live in a cottage with two spacious terraces, and there is a park only about three minutes’ walk from our home with a dedicated dog area. Your dog would stay with us as part of our normal family life rather than being treated like a kennel guest.

We are available both on weekdays and weekends and prefer to care for one well-matched dog at a time.
