I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life. We had an old family dog, a rescue Dachshund mix, who was part of everything we did - from long hikes to quiet evenings at home. When I later moved in with my boyfriend, we decided to get a dog of our own, which brought a whole new level of experience (and, admittedly, some puppy blues!). I’ve been through dog school with him, worked extensively on leash training and discipline, and learned how to channel the endless energy of a hunting breed. I’m now very proud to call him a teenage gentleman, although his teenage ego occasionally has other ideas.

During my Bachelor’s, I also regularly dog-sat for several families, looking after an affectionate corgi, a proud maltese, a stubborn beagle and a very energetic french bulldog. I’m currently studying at the School of Transnational Governance at the European University Institute and, being away from my own dog in Vienna, I really miss having a dog around. I’d love to fill that gap by spending time with yours.

I’m based near San Marco, so I can get around Florence easily. I’m flexible about what your dog needs: a proper walk to burn off some energy, a play session, some company while you’re away, or a more relaxed outing exploring parks and quieter parts of the city. With my own dog, I’m used to 30–60 minute walks (and can always do more or less), and I’ve also worked with both large dogs who needed leash training (training my own) and more timid dogs who needed a gentler pace.

I’m happy to adapt to your dog’s personality and routine. I can be firm when needed, but my main goal is for your dog to have a safe, enjoyable and exciting time as well as adapt to your schedule, I know how difficult it can get.

My university schedule is fairly flexible, with only a few hours of classes most days. Thursdays and weekends are completely free, and I have one late-afternoon class every second Friday. We can find a time that works for us through Whatsapp or a call (+436764294844).
